On 2 July 2005 the time had finally come. Mobile projectoffice OpTrek opened the new work of art for the façade in combination with the video programme OpTV at De La Reyweg 478. The present façade of the office building of OpTrek has acquired its parasitic, red extension 'Jack', designed and built by the artists Michiel Voet & Jeroen Bisscheroux, with a large video projection screen at the front. In the coming six months until the moment when the building is to be demolished (December 2005) the programme OpTV will be shown on this screen, composed by Klaas van Gorkum and Iratxe Jaio.

This programme consists of art videos, information films, found footage, and videos handed in by the neighbourhood. With works of e.g. Natascha Hagenbeek, Mariëlle Videler, Martijn Boelhouwers, Inge Hoonte, Tilmann Meyer-Faje, Lieven de Boeck and Jurgen Vanderdonckt, Bojan Fajfric, Pierre Sondeijker and Sandra Smidt, Sarah Leisdovich, Hatice Güleryüz, Oscar Naters, Iris Hoppe and Wilfred Loewensteyn, Natasja van Kampen, Ahmet Polat and Leo van der Kleij.

During the opening a live studio had been built in the office of OpTrek. Here visitors could make their own programmes. Children started rapping spontaneously and the neighbour used the opportunity to tell the audience that he does not agree with the demolition plans of the municipality. Later that evening music was even made in the live studio. All the recordings were immediately shown on the screen on the outside of the dwelling where the audience was also standing.
